hese pieces and arrangements were written as a result of a special collaboration between John Griggs and myself, sharing and integrating our cross-cultural influences, from Classical to Jazz to impressionism.
The lead sheets show the basic structure for the tunes with harmonies. It is suggested that one learn the melody and harmony prior to playing the arrangement. This will lead to a better understanding of the concert arrangement which may better suit the individual style of the performer. The polyphonic nature and structure of the guitar makes it a unique solo instrument, with its different timbres and avenues to be explored. Experiment!
